About Greenfield Executive Education
Greenfield Executive Education is a premier executive learning and leadership recognition institution dedicated to identifying, celebrating and equipping Africa's most outstanding leaders across business, public service, governance and civil society.
We believe that leadership done well changes lives and that those who have given their lives to service deserve to be honoured in a manner befitting their contribution.
What We Do
At the heart of our work are two complementary offerings — the Leadership Summit and the Honorary
Doctorate Conferment Programme.
Our Leadership Summit is an interactive, high-impact platform that brings together distinguished executives, government officials, ambassadors, entrepreneurs and senior professionals from Africa, Europe and Asia. Held quarterly across our partner cities, the Summit features insightful sessions by leading scholars and practitioners on themes carefully selected to address the real challenges facing today's leaders. Topics span governance and accountability, corporate social responsibility, women in leadership, conflict resolution, sustainability, ethical leadership and more.
Our Honorary Doctorate Programme recognises exceptional individuals whose contributions to their communities, professions and nations have been extraordinary. In partnership with the American University of Peace and Governance, the Chartered Institute of Peace and Governance, and UNIPGC, we confer the Honorary Doctorate Degree in Leadership upon individuals of proven integrity, significant community impact and distinguished achievement in their field. Candidates are nominated by alumni, identified through our social research network, or invited through public advertisement — and all are reviewed and approved by our Advisory Board.
Who We Honour
Our Honorary Doctorate is open to accomplished leaders across all fields — CEOs, senior executives, entrepreneurs, public servants, academics, faith leaders and change-makers. The primary criteria are simple but non-negotiable: unwavering integrity, meaningful contribution to community or society, and demonstrated excellence in one’s field of endeavour.
Why It Matters
An honorary award from Greenfield Executive Education is more than a title. It is a publicacknowledgement of a life well lived in service. It opens doors to new networks, elevates professional standing, builds legacy and perhaps most importantly — tells a leader that their work has been seen,
valued and celebrated. Specifically, recipients benefit from:
Recognition of their significant contributions to their field, community or society — enhancing their reputation and credibility. An elevation of professional standing that can open new opportunities, partnerships and career advancements. Access to exclusive events and networks, connecting them with other distinguished professionals and leaders across Africa and beyond. The inspiration their recognition provides to others striving for excellence. A lasting legacy that solidifies their place in the history of their field or community. Increased visibility through media coverage, speaking engagements and other forms of recognition. A deep sense of personal fulfilment, acknowledging years of hard work and dedication. And the prestige to leverage for future projects, initiatives and causes they are passionate about.
